WE'RE SMILING FOR DORY, but Mom is sad :(

Some dogs smile easier than others,

and Piper is one of those dogs.
He always seems to have a smile
on his face.
He is such a self-assured little guy
and walks with a swagger.


Java is getting old and grumpy.
He seems to do more whining
than smiling as of late.
One sure thing to get him to smile
is the thoughts of a ride,
either in the truck or the Polaris.


Lilly smiles more with her body
than with her mouth.
She has a sparkly little way
of dancing when she is happy.


And then there is Carrleigh,
our little ballerina.
Mom is always envisioning Carr
in a tutu
as she twirls and leaps
when she is happy.


But Mom is not really happy today.
She had to go back to the doctor
for her checkup about the flu.
He told her it would be Friday
before she could go out anywhere.
And she had planned to go get Lilly
tomorrow afternoon.
If you're coming up the mountain from Roanoke,
please bring Lilly with you
so Mom will be smiling too.
