WE'RE SURE GONNA MISS HIM

 This morning,
Mom put Argyle
on the grooming table.

That is usually the cue
for the rest of us to hide somewhere
 - usually under the bed.

This morning seemed different - somehow.
We were intrigued
and wanted to watch
what happened.

He got brushed, combed,
bathed and clipped
and before long
she had him out on
"the bench"
snapping photos.

He's leaving us today
to go back to his family.
His Dad is taking
him on a long trip
to Oklahoma.

We'll sure miss him -
he's a sweetie.

XOXO

IT'S A RAINY DAY ON ROCKY CREEK FARM

All morning,
we've been
'as snug as a bug in a rug'
as we listen to the rain
fall on our tin roof.

But we think our cattle
want to come in the house
and lie on the couch with us.

Instead they are outside
in this downpour!!

At least when we go out,
we do have raincoats -
our poor cattle only
have their fur coats -
and we don't know how
water resistant they are.

XOXO
Lilly, Piper, Argie and Ivy

PS - Charlotte, we would love
to help you find a raincoat,
but we can't respond to your comment because
we don't have your email.
If you email us at
rocky creek scotties @ yahoo dot com,
maybe we can help you out.

ARE YOU A PACK DOGGY?

Check this out!!

Since Carrleigh went to live
with our Sissy in
sunny SoCal,
she has become
one salty dog!!

She is loving the life
of a single dog
and is now living
the life of the princess
that she was always
destined to be.

Some dogs live great
as pack animals
and some don't
and we can vouch for the fact
that Lilly and Carrleigh
did not like being in the same pack.

Do you get along good in your pack
or
would you be happier if your
pack-mates were rehomed?

XOXO
Lilly, Piper, Argie and Ivy
