IT's WHEELY WEDNESDAY WITH ANGUS

Good Morning
and welcome to Wheely Wednesday with Angus.
He is going to show you some of Mom's endeavors
during the last couple of weeks.

She and her cousin made hats
for our local Roanoke Warming Families project.
These are ready to go to the post office
and she will mail them tomorrow -
the deadline is October 31st.

She almost has a Cookie Sheet Baby Blanket
knitted for a project Sue b
rought to her attention.
She needs to get this finished and in the mail by this weekend.
The deadline is November 1st.

And she has been making gift tags
from copies of vintage Scottie cards and prints.
She just prints them out on the computer,
then glues them to a manila tag
and embellishes them with a button, bead or bell
- pretty simple and cute!!
We know we'll be seeing these on our Christmas gifts!!

Every year, she makes unique Christmas "cards" for Dad's coworkers. One year she wrapped microwave popcorn and put a tag on it that said "We're popping in to wish you Merry Christmas" - pretty corny, we know, but they loved it. BOL!! She has given them packs of birdseed, custom wrapped candy bars, Christmas wands (candy canes) and a plethora of other things. This year she's having a hard time trying to come up with something - she's cheap - it must cost about the same amount as a Christmas card and stamp - if anyone has any ideas, she'd love to hear them.

We're off to help Mom clean out the fridge - we love that job, but she won't let us do it by ourselves.

XOXO

Your mom is most creative.

Hopefully not as creative as mine when it comes to growing things in the cold box.

We are impressed with your Mom's ambition and generosity. Our mom was going to try to make some of those cookie sheet blankets but Nov. 1 might be a problem.

Thanks for sharing all your news. Christmas is coming up on us so quickly.

Woos, the OP Pack
