Good Morning All,
We hope this finds everyone getting ready for a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend. Yesterday we all just stayed around the house and rested. We did a lot of sleeping, but today we hope to be "up and at it" again.
Mitch and Sarah made it safely home on Wednesday. They called Mom in the middle of the night to let her know they had made it home. It was only 10:30pm where they live, but it was 1:30am here. Mom got an email from them yesterday saying how much they enjoyed their visit and that they were sad to leave - we surely enjoyed them. Mom outdid herself with the food she served while they were here - yesterday we did get to eat a few of the leftovers.
This morning we heard on the news that some parts of Colorado are expecting up to 3 feet of snow. We are wondering about our friends, Jake and Fergi. We know our legs aren't long enough for that much snow and we don't think theirs are either. Of course the elks they see in their yard might be OK with it. We were just over visiting their blog. Jake watched the 2009 Portland Dog Show last night and guess what???? - A Scottish Terrier won first place in the Terrier Division. ARRROOO!!! ARRROOO!!!
Travis' Blog Review for this week is about Ludo - a beautiful Sheltie. We don't know Ludo but are going to head over to his blog to check him out. We think he might be a 'pawty animal' - we hope to get invited to one of his bashes! - they look like fun. Our friends, Maggie and Mitch did a fantastic review of his blog. In fact their review is so good, we're sending all of our friends there instead of doing one ourself.
Mom says we can't sit around and sleep the day away today. She has to cook breakfast for the Ruritan Club tomorrow morning so we have to go shopping to get ready for it. We're thinking that we'll send Lilly to help her shop and the rest of us will stay home.
Have a fantastic Friday.
XOXO

Woo hoo! We're famous! We're on your blog! That makes us smile :) If we were cats, we'd purr. (Actually Fergi does make a sort of purring sound when she's really relaxed! She's doing it right now and is wiping her face the way a cat does.) Yep. That was me, Jake, watching the Scottie win first place! I do love DOGS!
We didn't get as much snow overnight as we thought we might wake up to. Mom did make Nina ride the bus, though (instead of drive) because it's comin' down! It's a rain-snow mix now, but they are projecting up to 30" for where we live (we are in the foothills.) It'll be fun fun FUN! We'll take pictures!
Have a great Friday! We're really looking forward to the weekend. ESPECIALLY if Mom makes it to the birthday store today before it gets too deep!
Woo hooo!
Jake and Fergi (soon to be the snow pups)
Glad they got home safely, you will be very quiet without them.
Yikes 3 feet of snow. No thank you very much.

Three feet of snow - not fair for it all to fall in one place.
Nothing wrong with sleeping the day away - then we just party all night:-)
