TRUE COLORS THURSDAY -- Scarlet Red

Last week when we started doing True Colors Thursday, our huMom decided to collect some pictures for this Thursday so she is taking a few minutes to help us blog today. We love DWB and want to post something every day if we can. If you want to play, just let Blue know and she'll add your name to the list.

We're not sure if the color of the Marine Corps Band (The President's Own) uniforms are scarlet or crimson, but they sure look sharp. Our dad is retired from the Marine Corps and he has told us about their wonderful band.

Lilly's new leather collar is scarlet. Mom has a harness maker make collars and leashes for us sometimes. Scotties are very strong because of their muscular hind legs and can break collars. Mom either puts a Lupine collar (which our dogtor, Dr. Jim recommends) or a leather collar on us. She has a coupler (where you can hook two doggies to the same leash) that she says is strong enough to hold two bears!

It has a scarlet "ghostbuster sign" over the Scottie.
No Scotties in the airport
- well we don't want to fly anyway -
our Mom has read too many horror stories about
what can happen to dogs that fly in the cargo hold.
If we fly, we will be in the cabin with our peeps.


And we decided to let Mom have an entry today.
She just finished reading Twilight
and really liked it even though
Dad told her her it was geared for teenagers-
she's young at heart.
The apple is scarlet.
