It just amazes us
that the puppies turned
that the puppies turned
five weeks old yesterday.
They are growing so fast.
They all have their sharp little puppy teeth now -
the better for biting your ankle, my dear.
And they all are weaned from their mother.
They still get their food softened
with milk replacer,
but by this time next week
they should be eating crunchy puppy chow.
You can see that their ears
are really starting to bloom.
We are trying to fill them with love
so that when they go out into the world,
they will know how to love
their furrever families.

Samba nursed the pups for eight weeks. I don't know how she could stand those sharp little teeth.

I think you should make it part of your puppy contract that each one's parents MUST create a blog for them so we can follow their lives. Don't you?... LOL!

Just found your blog and I must say your "wheatie sweeties" are adorable. My hubby & I are currently owned by two 11-month-old scottie boys who came to us through Scottie Rescue in St. Louis, MO. They are Hamish & Duncan and you can see them on my blog - www.quiltedscottie.blogspot.com. They are our 5th & 6th scotties - our first two were wheaten brothers, Angus & Malcolm and made us devoted to the breed. Murdock followed and then Kelsie - both rescue dogs. They are all so nice. We think our favs are Finlay, Henry, Ciara, and Snickers. But that was a very hard choice. Happy four weeks old!!!

When they are all together in one pile, they look the same. But as individuals, they each have their own sweet look! I could just smother them in kisses!!
