OUR MOM HAS BEEN SNEAKING OFF TO BLOGS WITHOUT US

Many of you know that the reason we wanted to start blogging was so we could meet some more Scotties. The great thing about blogging is that we have not only met Scotties, but a vast array of other pooches and peeps who we now call friend.

Yesterday a box came in the mail.
it was addressed to our Mom
in care of Rocky Creek Farm.
It smelled like Scotties were inside.
(and there was one or three)
But Mom said that this box
was for her, not us.
Do you know what she had the nerve to do?

She has used our blog to connect with "her" friends.
And in doing so she won a contest.
It's so not fair!
We only hope she will use
some of her winnings
to purchase some dog treats.

While visiting with her friend, Holly,
who is by the way - owned by two darling Scotties,Rory and Fiona,

Mom entered a contest
and she won an Amazon Gift Card.

This morning while looking at Amazon,
Mom discovered there where
in excess of 8000 Scottie related items.

A purse like Holly's
from Dooney and Burke.


The list just goes on and on.
We're voting for
Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Treats
or something similar.
We know there are a plethora
of dog treats listed on Amazon
because we've looked.

But not only did Mom get the gift card
she got a 1/1 limited edition
pen and ink drawing named
"Fall Watching"
by Sarah Sullivan.
Holly commissioned this drawing
just for her 1 year anniversary contest.



We know Mom will be on her way
to the Framer's Daughter soon
to get it framed
and it will hang in a place of honor
in our home.

But the most important thing that Mom received
is the special kinship she feels with Holly
and all of our blogging buddies.
