And welcome to Wheely Wednesday. It seems like so much has been going on to keep us busy for the past week that we didn't take too many photos. And today there is a huge post driver right outside of our bedroom window driving post for our new fence. We are just a little "crazy" over the clunk, clunk, clunk sound it makes. Sometimes it even makes us ARRROOO!! Anyway, just jump aboard our trusty Polaris and we'll show you a few things that have happened this week.
Dad filled our pool with water.
Who will be brave enough to want the floating treats?
Who will be brave enough to want the floating treats?
And here HE is!
Our brave Piper
and his adoring fan club.
He just loves to get in the pool
and walk around.
Carrleigh will get in for a few seconds,
but Lilly made her debut -
walked across it and got out -
never to go back in again!

Mom tried to buy a calf
from Dad's business partner.
He laughed at her choice and
gave her the calf
because in his opinion
it was a poor choice.
This is it's 3rd baby!!
And the first calf to be born
on
Rocky Creek Farm
that is
Charlais and Black Angus mixed.
It is a beautiful litte gray bull calf.

When Mom got home from choir practice,
the Momma cow brought her baby
to the house for Mom to see.
As soon as Dad checked it out,
she took it back over the hill
toward the backside of the farm.

Now ~ Zoe (our Yorkie) wants a pool too. What a great idea to have a kiddie pool ~ wonder if she'll like it better than taking a bath?

Our Bambi says you can keep the pool, she says no to water but that baby cow! She would love a baby cow!!! We would too. Our tractor is broke and the weeds are really high in places. Love all your pictures!! Enjoy your posts!
Kisses and licks. Bambi & Fern
Tell me, do you Scotties really like water? To swim in or just to cool down? I don't mind having my tummy wet on a hot day, but I REALLY HATE getting my back soaked. Someone told Gail it's a Westie thing, but we're wondering if Scotties are the same?
Cheers, H.
What a lovely trip we all had..
That little calf sure is cute.. Mom grew up on a dairy farm and was always having to round up the babies and bring them back to the barn. She had a horse then and she would just throw the calf on the horse and Momma cow would follow along behind.

Hi,
We didn't play in our pool much either, so mom gave it to the Humane Society doggies. That made Banjo very happy!
