WATCHING SCOTTIES GROW

The Sweet Babes
are growing so fast,
we can hardly believe it.

Precious little Fergus
and all of the rest
are just as active as can be -
that is when they are not
sleeping or eating.

We can only imagine how
they will be
once they have their
eyes and ears open.

The girls
(in no certain order)
would not sit still to get their photograph.
Every time Mom got them lined up,
they switched places.

As did the Boys
(in no certain order)

Their little noses are starting to darken up -
to become that shiny black button nose
that the breed standard calls for.

See the little "dots"
on this puppy's face.
Those are on every Scottie
and the reference points
that groomers will use
to groom them
for the rest
of their life.

(Kilts)
And
the pink pads
on their feet
have already turned black -
and you can barely see where
their dew claws were removed.

AHHH!!
Sweet Puppy Breath!!

XOXO
Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh, Ruairi
and
The Sweet Babes

I didn't know that Scottie pups are light in color at birth and I didn't know that the little dots on their faces will be helpful for the groomers for the rest of their life. Wow, I am very well informed and I am in love with those puppies!

Sweetness. In so many respects.

Please give each of them a tender kiss from each of us, and whisper to them words that remind them of how much they are loved.
