the puppies aren't here
But the nursing staff has arrived!
Just as I,
was preparing to introduce
the expectant pawrents
to the pool
for a bit of relaxation therapy,
flying down our dirt road driveway
in her little red convertible.
She had it packed
full of stuffies
so she and I could play
in between our nursing duties.
what is she thinking?
She has no idea how tired I am -
I've worked my little toes
"to the bone"
taking care of Carrleigh.
Before Snazzi could get everything unpacked,
a private airplane
circled our farm
and landed in the pasture
scaring our cows half to death,
are on the job!!
From the looks of those new uniforms,
will be out of my fur
for a while.
Check out those legs on Asta-
bet that wax job was a stinger!!
Just when I thought I'd pass out
the next nurse arrived
to save the day,
(just as long as we can keep her
from drinking Lacie's smoothies)
Sassy, Buddy and Zack's Rama,
came to assist.
I have it on good authority that she has done
this type of nursing before.
And I also know that she might be able to keep
those other nurses in check -
when I'm resting or busy,
they will have to answer to her.
