ROCKY CREEK BABIES

Here are part of the calves
that have been born this year -
they have a little "clique" -
it's amazing to watch how their
society functions.

In the afternoon,
we saw Mom get out a harness
and we all got really excited -
it means someone is going somewhere
and we all wanted to go.

But Baby Ruairi
was the lucky one -
he got to go to Grannys,
to the gas station,
to Tractor Supply
and then to Lowes.

He even rode in the cart
like a little gentleman,
never barking at anyone or anything
and he let people come by and pet him.

But we know
these are the babies
you really came to see -
and everyone has open eyes now!

XOXO

Those pupsters just melt our hearts.

We read somewhere that a herd of cows is really a collection of small herds, as cows tend to stay with their friends. Interesting.

Give those pups a hug from us.

Lowes still lets me in, but our Home Depot had up a big sign for the first time NO DOGS.
What did we do to them?? So Lee and I got back in our car and we went down the road to Lowes!
I love to ride in the cart.

What a fun outing for Ruairi! Mama often wishes I would fit in her purse so I could go in stores with her... but alas, the shop owners would find a purse large enough to hold me a bit suspect! We have cows at my grandparents' house and I love barking and keeping them in line... from the security of a fence!! The puppies are growing and getting cuter and cuter!
Love,
Janie

We like to see the cows in the field next to us. One mother cow babysits all the calves while the other cows go off and do their thing. Nice system.

Here come the puppies, eyes wide open!
