This is the first "trick" that Lilly learned. About 2 days after we brought her home from the breeder, she learned to jump into the paper recycle bin. She got in trouble several times for ripping paper and strewing it all over the living room. That was her favorite pastime. She has learned better now, but it did require that Mom set some mouse traps on top of the trashcan. When Lilly would knock them off, they would spring and the noise of that kept her away from the trash.
We know that many of you have already done this, but if you haven't please feel free to show us a little snipet of your life that we have never seen.
XOXO

Awwww, Lilly, you were such a cute little whippersnapper!
I thought of you guys yesterday when I spotted my first buff colored Scottie at a park! I would've gone over to say hi but he/she was with a crazed German Shepherd who wanted to eat me instead of meet me :-(
Glad your family reunion was a success! Did you get to swipe any of that peach icecream?
Your pal,
Sedona
Oh cute as cute can be... Just lovely..
Hugs GJ xx
too cute - but mouse traps ouch - Woodrow has figured out that he can steal the mouse trap food by dropping one of his toys on the trap - after it prings he can eat the nummies off of it

Wooos! I love to shred paper too, Mom now hides it from me, or else she will still find shredded paper everywhere!

What a cutie you were, Lilly! That recycle bin was a pretty high challenge for a little pup but we know all about Terrier determination!

Lily! You must like to 'scrap' like I do! Mom says I like to distress paper. She has to hide paper backs cuz I like to read too, only I like to rip the page out so I can carry it with me. Thanks for playing tag with me!

Hey! I am supposed to be learning to jump in the can myself. I didn't know that it included the satisfaction of shredding paper. Maybe I will work a little harder on that trick now.
Kisses,
Dexter
That's so cute...never mind about the aper mess...
Lily, was just recycling that's all!
You made my day with this precious photo of Lily.

Great picture!!! I keep telling Mom that she's got to do this picture thing, but she's "a little behind" on things....

Just clicked over from Miss Jean's. I was leaving her a message about a cute Scotty post I came across and thought I let you know about it too.
Your blog is so cute! I have yellow lab, Sunny, and a black and white mix named Oreo. My daughter always picks names by what they look like!
Here's the Scotty link:

We just think you were trying to be "green" Lilly! Shredding that paper to it was easier to recycle!!

How cute was Lilly! We thought of you guys the other day when PL2 saw a little broom that looked like 3 scotties!!!sooo cute(but not as cute as the real thing) Love A+A
Pwds think paper is one of the food groups. We never outgrow our interest in acting as living shredders.
Hootie still shreds the occasional paper. He gets into the burn bag when the folks are gone.

PS-Our Mommy cracked up laughing at your comment about maybe you should use your cobweb broom. hehe.
Ha rooo rooooo - the old mousetrap trick. We had to endure those on our counters for a while and on the sofas we aren't allowed on. They are pretty scary when they snap, aren't they?
Very cute pic of Lilly.
