TRUE COLOURS THURSDAY

Good Morning All,

Welcome to True Colors Thursday. The color for this week is GRAY. If you'd like to play along, go over to
Blue's Blog and let her know. And then you're in. It's that simple.

Since Mom is so busy getting ready for the Memorial Day festivities at the Ruritan Club, we went in to our photo archives to finds some photos for today.

This is Lilly and Piper's son
McDhubh (MacDoo)
lying on a gray paisly sheet.

Here are some turkeys foraging
in our front yard.
Their feathers have some
gray markings on them.
And our winter yard
looks gray too.

Isn't this a cute vintage
post card.
Mom got it on Ebay.
The sweet little girl
with her beautiful dog.

Here's a picture of
Mom's grandparents.
Her grandfather used to tease her and say,
"I was half gray when I was born"
His mother's maiden name was Gray.

This doesn't look very gray,
but our old barn has
many shades of gray
on it's weathering sides
and it's rusting roof.

Have a Terrific Thursday. We are off to help Mom and the Ruritan Club make fried apple pies. Mom is the dough maker, but our job is taste testing and quality control.

XOXO
Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Java

Nice grays, although that barn picture looks mighty cold to me.
Can I help with taste testing? I am very good at that!

Lynn, I don't mean paint the barn!!!!! I mean on canvas! I wouldn't change a thing about the barn itself!!!

What lucky dogs you are, living in such a lovely place, and with employment as taste testers!
But if you want grey, can I recommend a Winter visit to my hometown of Aberdeen (Scotland). Grey streets, houses, sky, sea, cars, faces...
Cheers, H.

What a big barn you have! WOW!

Yeah, my grandparents were in black and white too. I am always surprised when I see them and they are in color.

Oh, dog! Fried apple pies!!??!! We were busy thinking about gray and how much we like that neutral color and then we got TOTALLY DISTRACTED! We've gotta go raid the refrigerator now, and there's NOTHING in there was good as fried apple pies!

Wishin you didn't live so far away,
Jake and Miss Fergi
