We are three gorgeous (and loved) Scottish Terriers who share our lives with our people and our "Heinz 57" on a farm in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Please join us in our day to day experiences.
Our Mom says "Life is so much merrier with a Scottish Terrier".
Poor Scotties, you are going to feel so good after your baths!!! That is what I tell Bambi. It takes Tom to give her a bath, she dislikes it so much. You would think they thought they were going to melt!! Just like the snow!! Kiss the clean scotties and Java for us. Bambi, Happy & Fern
Don't snarl at your Mommy. A bath is a good sign, as it means you are loved. Also, you get your Mommy's attention, just you. I don't like the wet, but I sure do love being with Mommy. Sally Ann
Looks like a little early spring cleaning going on there! The temperatures rise and these humans go crazy, I tell ya! I had a bath too (last night), if it makes you feel any better..
I get a treat after my bath, so it makes it worth it; the only problem is my Dad shuts the door so I can't go outside and rub myself in the dirt, what a shame 1 Love, Bella
YAY for the warm weather!! Boo for baths!! We hope you all survived!! We overheard Moms saying that we all need pedicures. I think we'll all go hide now....
Teehee! Mom used to bath us with the horse shampoo stuff, too, but now she pretty much takes us to the groomer, because some of us (*cough*TaiChi*cough*) aren't so keen on the bath thing, and make it a traumatic experience for all involved! I don't know about you, but I'm not so happy about the warm weather; it is 42 today, and while the melting snow is uncovering all sorts of 'buried treasure', I'd really like more snow to bound around in...
Our yard is muddy now so Dad has started hosing our feet before we come in the house. What is it with these humans, don't they know muddy feet is a natural state for a dog?
Oh say it's not so! I think you gave HER ideas! She was mumbling about how much Puffy stinks and how shaggy I look, so I'm afraid we've been penciled into the calendar too!
Carrleigh, is that a snarl I see?Not very becoming on such a sweet face. Hope that turns into a smile once Mom works her magic on you! Hugs, Nancy & Angus ( who is the next one to be visitint the tub!)
Oh dear, you poor people. There have been some people over here this week who have also HAD TO HAVE a bath...we got let off but our guests Max and Pekoe were not so lucky...

Scots swimming in the snow
Check us out!! We had a foot of snow the 1st of March. We liked it and did Piper ever get covered with little snowballs. His skirt is the longest!! Imagine that. I don't know why we girls couldn't have longer furnishings.

That is most inappropriate. Horse shampoo indeed. Even I can tell that you are not horsies, but proper little dogs.
