This morning as
Dad left for school,
Dad left for school,
we stepped out onto the porchand looked around.
The cattle are grazingon this wonderful
rainy Fall day.
The leaves are gettingmore colorful every day.
The blue birds have leftour lone little birdhouse.
Ruairi has alreadybeen bathed and dried.
So has Piper.
We girls wait in apprehension,because we know we'll be next.
And then after everyone is
bathed and dried,
the stripping and clipping will start.
And it will look like Mom hasbeen plucking chickens
in our living room.

It's so beautiful there Lynn!! We are just starting to see some real color here, and some real shedding too!! Ruairi looks so handsome and I'll bet when Todd is all grown up, right down to the collars, you won't be able to tell the two apart!
