We are planning to be
"out of the office"
for a few days.

It's that time of year,
when cousins come to visit.
And the wonderful aroma
of home baked foods fill our kitchen.
Friends and family gather
to celebrate their heritage
at family reunions.
And if we're lucky,
Mom slips us a bit of the caramel icing
from Granny's black walnut cake.
We'll still be sniffing around your blogs -
because we can't stay away,
but we probably won't be posting
until next week.

PS Gail and I are very impressed with all your Dad's degrees! We thought that Gail held the record (one bachelors, two masters and, last year finally, a PhD). We think you should encourage your Dad to go for the doctorate too!

How lovely! All that yummy food and lots of family to share it with! Hope you had some nice weather too. We've been doing a sort of "reuino" of our own with some cousins while in Utah, plus riding through 10 states with my in-laws aboard Big Earl - that's gonna be enough "family moments' to last me a LONG time LOL!
