Since Carrleigh went to live
with our Sissy in
sunny SoCal,
she has become
one salty dog!!

She is loving the life
of a single dog
and is now living
the life of the princess
that she was always
destined to be.

Some dogs live great
as pack animals
and some don't
and we can vouch for the fact
that Lilly and Carrleigh
did not like being in the same pack.

Do you get along good in your pack

FROM PITIFUL TO PRECIOUS OVERNIGHT

Our Mom thinks a
Scottie that needs grooming
is about the most
pitiful looking animal
in the world.

We don't know why
but she lets us get pitiful looking
fairly often.
Piper has been pitiful
for quite a while.

Last Summer when it
was really hot and Mom
felt really bad she made a
BIG MISTAKE
and sheared Piper
with the clippers.

It has taken this long
for him to get back
"in coat" again.

He's still got a ways to go.

But he looks pretty handsome.
At least we think so!!

NOW FOR SOME MORE OF THE STORY...

Now as some of you know,
I, Lilly,
was thrilled to see Carrleigh
go on her merry way.

On the other hand,
I really hated to see my Sissy leave.

Mom and Dad
took a little longer
than Piper and I
thought they should take
when they took
Sissy and Carrleigh
to the airport.

When they got home,
they had a big surprise
for us.

When the car door opened,
out jumped my sweetie, Argie!!

Argie, Piper and I
are having a great time
playing together.

Argie is going to stay
with us for a few weeks
while his Mom, Lizbeth,
is having some chemotherapy.
Please send her some
"power of the paw".
We are praying daily
for her recovery.

(Just so you know -
this is not Argyle, the puppy.
It is another Argyle -
it is who the puppy was named for.)

Argie's peeps have a new hobby.
They have started keeping bees.
When he came,
he brought us a jar of honey
from their first harvest.
It is great on a hot, buttered biscuit!!

LEAVING ON A JET PLANE....

Our sweet sissy
came to visit us last week.

We kind of got suspicious
when Mom started teaching
her how to groom us.
She had never done that before!!

And then we saw
the Sherpa Crate
come out.
YEAH!!
We knew for sure that one of us
was going on vacation.

Before long,
Mom and Sissy
started helping
Carrleigh
get her things together.

Carrleigh had a long flight
but now she is a
California Princess.
She even has her own blog!

We sure do miss our
California girls
but we know they will
be so happy together.

We are thrilled
knowing that our Sissy
has Carrleigh to watch over her.
