We've heard it said
that you should put a marker
near something
if you want to see
how much it is growing.
Mom never remembers
this when we have puppies.
On the first night
of this clan's life,
she started putting
them in a shoe box
when she needed to
change their sheets
and clean the puppy box.
Every night,
she and Dad
talked about how much
they had grown,
but Mom
didn't photograph it.
And now
she could kick herself
because,
collectively,
they have gained a pound
and you can really
see the difference.
(Aidan)
When they were born,
they weighed an average
of 8.5 ounces
and now they weigh an average
of 11.75 ounces.
They are growing
like little Scottie puppies should.

On a cold rainy day this certainly warms my heart!! I really do think that if you looked close enough you can see them grow!!!
Oh those sweet little puppies! They look so warm and happy all snuggled together! I'm glad to know they're cozy and in good spirits (I like to think lol) despite the storm! We're thinking of y'all during this crazy weather!
Mom just wants to reach in and hug them all.
Of course they are growing, they get wonderful and loving care there:)

Our vet reminded me last week that all nine of our pups were in a shoebox on their first vet visit. It's hard to believe.
OHhhhhhhhh! a shoe box, you could ship them all to me!!!
Your Furiend Susie
We could watch them all day

I love the photo of all the buglets in a shoebox together. It's fascinating how they grow so quickly. Give all the buglets a kiss from us here in Kentucky. Miss Emma sends a special kiss to her siblings! Thanks for sharing your joy with us!

Love the pictures! Once again!!!
Say, it looks like the storm is bringing snow to your corner of the world. I am thinking of the cows there. Know your husband, you, Ivy, Piper, Lilly, and the wee babes should be safe and warm.. Just want to let you know you are in my prayers.
Lovely to know they are doing so well!
Stay safe!

I love those puppies!! I told my mother, a serious Scottie lover, about them and she was relieved they are so far away from her - no chance of her buying one. She's older and likes to travel and knows it's not a good time for a dog. Give them all an extra hug from us!
