ASK YOUR PEEPS TO HELP YOU BE SAFE

 You know we, Scotties
are a very serious breed.
We are serious
about our foodables -
those we eat
and those we
don't get to eat.

Mom has never
let us have any
rawhides or bully sticks.
 Now that there is such
as scare about them,
we know that she probably
never will.

 In fact all dog treats
except for
Kirkland brand "milkbones"
have been eridicated
from our house.

 Now,
all we get
for treats
are human foods.
We all like apple slices.

 Small crackers,
like Cheese Nips
and Oyster Crackers
have replaced
Charlie Bears.
We also get Cheerios.

 Pepperoni
has replaced
Pupperoni.

 We adore cantaloupe
and watermelon.
But remember
NO GRAPES.

 You would think
that loosing this much hair
would get one
more than
three little crackers,
but Mom
"sticks to her guns".
Treats are treats -
meals are meals.
We only get a small amount
for treats
and when mealtime comes,
that is when we get the bulk
of our nourishment.

If you have any quetions
regarding the food you feed,
or recalls,
is fairly quick to update
and has a lot of information.

Please also be careful
this time of year -
we recently read about
a little Scottie girl
loosing her life
because she was poisioned
by a mushroom -
our mouths are big
and we are quick.

XOXO
Lilly, Piper and Ivy

A mushroom?

We love our treats, we mostly get stuff made in Australia or USA.

XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

It's good to remind the humans. How awful to cause the death of a beloved pet when you think you're giving a treat.

Thank you for the information - mom is very careful about what she buys and what she gives us as treats.

We also love apples...and green beans...and carrots...and we are hoping to give watermelon a try now that it is in season.

We love Apple slices and celery and carrots and melon and cheerios...we do sometimes get chew sticks to keep us quiet when mom has a business conference call...but she is very careful about their origins.

Thank you for this important post!!!!

Oh Boy, I'm going to check out the Dog Food Advisor. We do love our chewy things over here but do get plenty of human treats also - we like those the best. Are there going to be more puppies soon? Oh boy oh boy!! Those Buglets got me hooked on you guys.

With Samba and Sky so very sick, Mom decided that she was going to start making our treats. Yesterday she made two batches of yummy cookies. We're happy dogs today.

I never ever have those rawhide chews or bully sticks or pig's ears or any of that stuff. Give me a nice raw bone to gnaw on any day. I still use store bought treats sometimes for training, but mostly just Charlie Bears which are OK. I love fruits and vegetables! I usually have some with my breakfast or when momma is cooking.

Kisses,
Dexter
