Yesterday,
Mom left us with Dad
and she went down the mountain
to a "meeting.
Mom left us with Dad
and she went down the mountain
to a "meeting.
We just watched
the Sweet Babes -
eat and sleep,
rumble,
eat and sleep,
rumble -
you get the picture.
When Mom came back,
she smelled suspiciously like
other dogs!!
and not just other dogs,
other puppies!
It seems that when our man, Piper,
went off for a bit of R & R
during the Winter
that he did more than just
visit with Miss Dee-Dee.
And now the Sweet Babes
have one 1/2 brother
and two 1/2 sisters!!
The are 10 days old.
May we introduce

PS - many of you have asked questions about what color puppies you get in a litter. Well you know that Piper is a red wheaten color, but Miss Dee-Dee is a black brindle so we were surely surprised to get Brownie. Blackie is the blackest Scottie I've ever seen - there is not a white hair on him anywhere!! It's hard to predict just what color one might get when they breed.

Well I would say that Piper does good work. Look at these little beauties. The sleeping bunch is precious as can be. My little guy are up an around looking for trouble. I love it!

Your babes seem to be so well behaved, following their schedule like all good scotties do. These babes are beauties too. Are you getting one?

Oh that Piper. Sounds like he had a fun holiday.

Piper did himself proud! We ust love Brownie - such unusual coloring. Mom is always surprised that an all-white sibe can come out of a mating to two colored sibes. Now if only we could find that white one for Dad.
