In every litter of puppies,
there is at least one
"camera hound"
that seems to be in every picture
and is not only there,
but is in the cutest pose.
We know you've probably all noticed
that with this clan,
it is Fergus.
Today,
we declare this blog
to be
a Fergus Free Zone.

Here are some of our other Rocky Creek Farm babies.
Sometimes when Black Angus babies come,
they are totally black and other times,
they are brown and then turn black.
We can never predict
what color they will start life
until they are born,
but in the end they all are black
with a few scattered white markings.

This is the "papa" of those Black Angus Babies.
Mom says if she ever gets
a black male Scottie,
she will name it
"Black Angus"
in tribute to our
beautiful cattle.

Those calves are so cute! I just love "herding" cattle from the safety of my side of the fence, of course!!
Love,
Janie
Oh how I needed to see all these babies and Scotties! I'm at my son's home for 10 days in D.C. and I miss my Westie babies, Malcolm, Izzie and Sugar like crazy. I have seen a lot of Westie's around my son's neighborhood and all the owners have been so gracious to stop and let me get my Westie fix.
oh yah, the calves are cute too. What Mom wouldnt be proud of them too!! I think you NEED a black scotties, not that I am partial or anything BOL

Those calves are lovely. But I have an important question. Are 'Black Angus' the same as what we in Scotland would call 'Aberdeen Angus'? And if so, why did you drop the 'Aberdeen' bit!!??
Toodle pip!
Bertie (a proud resident of the fine city of Aberdeen, Scotland).
HOLY DOG that bull is massive!!! Those baby cows are very nice. I want to go to your Rocky Creek Farm. Looks like a wonderful place!
Your other babies are all beautiful!! Babies inside and babies outside!! Lots of love, Debbie & Holly
Your big babes are lovely, but is papa considered to be a bull? We didn't see any horns. He sure is massive though. I am so glad you included Mackie & Kilts, We are addicted to the Scottie babe pics.
Love to all,
Linda & Abby
Your other babies are cute too. We have baby bison in the pasture next to us. They are adorable.
I don't want Fergus free days!
Those are some giant Scotties you have there ;-) Mr. Angus looks quite serious. I don't think I'd mess with him.
We love cows. The Papa is quite a fellow! Didn't know Angus can start out brown.
Of course we love the pictures (any pictures) of the scotties.
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
Yikes those guys look too big to mess with !!! Any baby is a cute baby!!
So many babies on Rocky Creek Farm! How special is that!
Love ya lots
Maggie and Mitch
The little bipeds love to ride by the farm nearby that has Black Angus cows there. And there are always lots of babies. We have never gotten to see them, Mom says it is too far for us to walk, what she really means is that it is too far for HER to walk.
Thanks for sharing your other babes with us, but thanks too for the puppy shots too.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Great pictures! I no idea you had cows! I've loved seeing the calves we have across the road from us, they're like big toys!
those calves sure are big babies
Benny & Lily
Never seen a cow or bull before (we urban dogs) but they impressive. Lucy has a thing for Fergus and is sulking under sofa... Its a great name, Fergus. Mind you, so is Bonni.
Your Scotties must have a wonderful life on a farm. Lovely.
Wishing you happy sunny days
Hector, Bonny and Lucy too!
My peep, Lee, spent her summers on her Grandmothers Guernsey dairy farm and loves the animals. Mr. Angus looks like he might not be to happy with the camera. I don't think I would want to walk across his pasture.
Sweet William The Scot
