STCA and THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE VISITED

We are thrilled at the interest in the blog world of our new contest. We have enjoyed getting to meet so many new furriends. We hope that more dogs, kitties and hammies will find out and jump on the bandwagon. Your pictures are marvelous and our Mom is working to get them together in a post - it might take two or three, but we'll get them all. Some of you have asked when it will be over - we have no way of knowing, but it will run for about 2 weeks - it will be over when we hit our 100th post and the winner will be announced that day. We will leave reminders as we come close to it.

Mom and Dad are both prospective members of the Scottish Terrier Club of Western Virginia and we had a meeting on Saturday. Carrleigh and Lilly got to go.

Carrleigh is the best rider.
She gets hooked in her seatbelt harness
and just lies down for a nap.

Lilly likes to ride in the front seat
so she had her leash hooked
in Mom's seatbelt and sat on Mom's lap the whole way.
See how enthused she is!!
Unfortunately we didn't get to really sniff any other Scotties. We were supposed to have an obedience class but it was too hot, so we had to stay in an air conditioned run. We were a little nervous because we had never been around that many doggies before. Were we really glad when we saw Mom coming with our leashes to take us home!!

But on the way home we got to have a Fig Newton - you should try one sometime - they are so delicious. We ate them so quickly that Mom couldn't get a picture of us.

Have a Magnificent Monday and don't forget to "stick out your tongue" and post your pictures.

XOXO
Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Java

Yum fig newton, I eat those fast too. I am glad you got to go for a ride, too bad about it being too hot for obedience class, mine is inside in the a/c, I like that.
Mom is looking for a Bentley the Cat tongue picture, she knows she has one, can't find it.

Lucky pups getting a fig newton snack! And air conditioning is always better than exercise... at least that is what I always tell myself. I'm sure my doctor would not agree. Fortunately the animals keep me busy and moving otherwise there's no telling what shape I'd be (though I'm guessing round. Very round) :)

I love Fig Newtons and I bet the pack would too but, we all eat wheat and gluten free around here. :( Next time you get one take a little nibble for us!

Fig newton, huh? I know Mom eats them when she does her two-wheeled riding thingy, but she's never offered one to me. I can't believe it. This is going to have to be rectified immediately! Thanks for letting me know about what I have been missing out on!

Hmmmm, we think there are fig newtons in our big wall storage thingie - have to see if we can paw some from Mom. We are working on our tongue shots, but the Mom seems to have a hard time getting the flashy beast to time it right with our moves.

Bonnie prefers to ride on the front seat center console. However, she gets stuffed in the back seat in her carrier most of the time. Sometimes we let them ride in the back seat, but unless it's at night when they sleep, Puff gets to whining to get up front and Miss B' gets to poking at him with her nose. Just like 2 kids. Mommy she touched me...Mooommm...make him shut up. I glad the clan got a fig newton treat...sounds yummiliscious!

Fig newtons, huh? We'll have to get some for our return trip in a few weeks. They sound delicious!

We're betting things are busy around your home about now. Take time for some extra walks and rides about the farm.... we love picturing you there!

I am glad that you have so many pictures to choose from. It must be funny to see all those doggies sticking out their tongues at you. I have to check with my Mom on that fig newton thing, I have never had one of those. Thanks for the tip.

I know I have a couple of those kind of pics of my babies. Will try to find and post. All the furry babies are so precious.

I have seen some of the tongue photos. Amazing variety. How will you ever choose?

I'm with you on big dog parties. I get kind of nervous with too many new dogs to meet all at once.
