It's me, Piper. And I am back from my recent hiatus. And hopefully, back in Mom's good graces.
I'm so thankful for all of the help offered to me. And I'm thankful I didn't have to cross the pond to get away from Mom, but I was thinking there might be some good Italian food at Paco and Milo's house. That pizza at Maggie and Mitch's was pretty delicious.
I didn't realize I would get home so fast. I kept thinking, "theres no place like home, theres no place like home" and Mom clicked her heels together and there I was - at home in my crate.
I'm still cute and I'm still doing a lot of sniffing around that wonderful smelling Carrleigh but I have calmed down considerably. By the time Mom bathes Carr today, I'll be totally back to normal - and if I'm not, I'm sure some Vicks Salve rubbed on my nose will distract me.
And soon, Lilly and I will be sitting on our crates, watching over our pen making sure no squirrels invade it.

You have that look in your eye in the solo portrait. We can almost tell what you are thinking! Hehehehe!
You sure caught our attention! Vicks Salve on the nose? Mom threatens to use it on us to soften our awesome noses and make them shiny. But it becomes a distraction???? NO! We'll be running the opposite direction if we see Mom with the little jar. Oh! Wait! We're thinking about Vaseline! That Vicks stuff STINKS! She does that to you? No wonder you get distracted.
Speaking of noses, we'd better go sniff around and see if there are any crumbs left from last night's late snacks.
We're glad you're back, Piper! Stay out of trouble!
