One would think
that when you have a lot of puppies
you wouldn't miss just one,
but then just one turns into
just two
and then
just three
and then
well, you get the picture.

The next thing we knew,
there were only three left -
Todd, which you can tell
because of the blue collar.
Jazzi and Sophie-
we're not really sure which one is which.

Then one, stormy, rainy afternoon,
a strange car came,
and the next thing we knew,
Sophie was going
up the road in it -
and she didn't even look back.

That left Jazzi and Todd.

Todd is left to eat alone,
on the other paw,
he gets all the food,
all the toys,
all the petting,
all the rocking,
all the lap-time
and has the big puppy box
all to himself.
He will leave us later
in the week.

Since Mom feels sorry for him,
she's been really generous
with the peanut butter Kongs!!

Miss Ivy would like to go in
and keep him company
but Mom and Dad, the meanies,
won't let her.
She saw the Vet this week.
When we got her,
she weighed 3 pounds 4 ounces
and on Monday
she weighed 9 pounds 14 ounces
and we haven't even had her 4 weeks.
We think her name should be
"Poison Ivy"
she is growing like a bad weed!!

Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh, Ruairi,
Ivy and Todd

PS - We're sorry we haven't been around to visiting
your blogs, but our secretary has been a bit overwhelmed.
We think things will calm down a bit now -
at least we hope so.

We hope those puppies will have a wonderful life!

They still look as sweet as can be. Jazzi is definately more feminine looking next to big Jock! She doesn't look as big as me now. Sending brotherly love, hugs & kisses,

It's hard to watch them leave, but you'll be getting reports and pictures and Ivy will demand lots of attention.

Aww! Is Todd staying there with you, or just still waiting for his family to come and get him? Ivy is just too cute!

Hi Lynn and Pups,
Sad to see them go!! So sad!
I'll have to go over to Kim's and see which one she got.
Ivy is just the cutest puppy!!! How old is she??
I wish I was younger I would get a puppy next. I am going to rescue one someone hopefully about 5 or 6 months old. Not for a while tho.
So happy and honored to get your visit.
Honey it has been HOT HOT.
For 3 weeks it has been 98 degrees to 105 every day!!! No rain!! There are fires all over Fla. (They) say that tomorrow we have a 50% chance of rain and we haven't had that kind of chance in a month. We are hoping!!!!

It's a good thing I didn't see this post yesterday, I would have been on my way last night to snatch poor Todd in the middle of the night--I think I'll do it this afternoon instead!! :-)))

When you get to missin' those pups, just let me know and I'll come over. It'll take a while, though, because I forgot how to drive. Here's a better thought, when you get to missing them, just hug on everybody else at your house and know that those puppies are giving so much Scottie joy to their new furever homes. What a gift!

I know you will keep in touch with all the pups. Hope you aren't too sad as they leave. g
