Our Mom says "Life is so much merrier with a Scottish Terrier".
When we checked our blog this morning, we realized that it had been a week since we've posted.
We think of you daily and have been reading your blogs, but sometimes we don't always comment - we have been having a bit of a problem with Blogger when it comes to leaving comments.
This week leading up to Christmas, we have been trying to help Mom and Dad as much as we can.
We've tested boxes for size and function.
We've volunteered to try out any new recipes that Mom is making.
We've played together a lot and tried to stay out from underfoot.
We've sat quietly in advisory positions.
But most of all, we've been helping them get ready * * * * for * * *
Christmas Eve's Eve which is known as Chili Day at our house. On this day, our Dad makes his famous chili. All of our family and neighbors come over for a bowl full of the steamy goodness.
We can hardly wait - maybe a bit will spill and they will need a clean-up crew.
We were so excited when we found out that Snazzi Jazzi and Edgar had declared today, December 4, 2010 as DWB National Taco Day.
From the time that Mom started browning delicious Rocky Creek Farm beef in a skillet on the stove, we started getting excited. We knew something good was going to happen.
There was a lot of lip-licking going on at our house.
Then she started chopping up the yummy veggies that go with tacos - and our favorite - the shredded cheddar cheese. The onions are for our peeps - we know that onions can be toxic to dogs so we don't have them on our tacos.
We waited patiently as she fixed our plates.
1-2-3-4 Four plates with a taco each and four of us - works out perfectly!
Mom tried to feed us separately and get pictures of each of us, but there was too much excitement - and we all converged on the plate of the slowest eater to help him get all of the mess cleaned up.
YUM! YUM! YUM!
Thank you Snazzi and Edgar for coming up with this wonderful idea - we are already looking forward to celebrating it next year.

Scots swimming in the snow
Check us out!! We had a foot of snow the 1st of March. We liked it and did Piper ever get covered with little snowballs. His skirt is the longest!! Imagine that. I don't know why we girls couldn't have longer furnishings.
