We are three gorgeous (and loved) Scottish Terriers who share our lives with our people and our "Heinz 57" on a farm in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Please join us in our day to day experiences.
Our Mom says "Life is so much merrier with a Scottish Terrier".
Our furiend, Molly, is hosting a Spring-time giveaway. No, we're not incredibly behind- she lives 'down-under' and Spring is springing there.
So, please take a minute and go by and visit - you might get lucky and win.

PS - Our lovely Granny had her surgery yesterday and is doing well. She will wear the fixator for eight weeks and then have therapy after that. Please don't send her any bunnies!!
Most of you have met our sweet Granny, at least virtually, that is. She just celebrated her 86th birthday and she just loves us!!
But last evening when she was taking her trash to the curb, she saw some weeds and a brown spot on the bank by her house.
Upon further investigation, she found a little nest with two baby rabbits in it. She reached down and picked one up and when it squealed, she gently placed it back in the nest.
While she was there, she saw a few weeds that needed to be pulled and when she started to pull them she lost her balance and fell backwards.
Our Aunt Mary called our Mom and when she started the conversation with "Your Mother", our Mom knew something was wrong, so she and Dad jumped in the car and went to their house.
Granny had a scarf tied around her neck and her arm was through it like a sling.
Mom and Dad took her to the Emergency Room at the local hospital and after several examinations and an xray, they determined that she had broken both bones in her right wrist.
On Wednesday, she will be having surgery to have a fixator put on her wrist.
We don't know, but this might change our blogging abilities as we attend to her needs. Right now we are "playing it by ear" to see what must be done.
Have a great day.

As you all know our sweet Sissy has been visiting with us.
We all take turns getting spoiled.
Unless we want to tease her and play "keep away".
She was the "lovely Vanna" at our family reunion - and gave out all the gifts. She even won one for traveling the longest distance to get there.
While at our Aunt Betty Jean's she even went over to the other side for a few minutes. But we don't hold that against her - after all we have some cat furiends.
But now she has left us for a few days to go sailing - we miss her so, but we know she'll be back soon. This is a practice run - when she leaves on Sunday to go back to California, we'll really be lonely.
As you know, our sissy, Kat, is visiting with us for two weeks. She is the best spoiler - takes us on walkies, lets us on the bed, feeds us delicious foodables. We could go on and on, but we want to show you what happened last night.
Mom had bought a bunch of peaches at the Farmer's Market - our peach tree dropped all of it's peaches before they got ripe - disappointed us greatly.
Anyway, we want to share our recipe with you for FRESH PEACH ICE CREAM. It is fantastic - and best of all - no raw eggs!
6 cups of chopped peaches (Mom always uses more) 1 package of Peach Jello (if you want it extra peachy, use two) 1/2 cup sugar 1 package instant vanilla pudding 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 can evaporated milk 1 quart half and half
Mix the chopped peaches with the dry peach jello and the sugar and let sit in your fridge for at least an hour - ours sat all day.
When you are ready to make the ice cream, puree 4 cups of the peach mixture (the rest of the peaches stay in their chopped form).
Mix the evaporated milk with the pudding mix.
And then mix everything together before pouring it in your ice cream maker.
Since it makes so much, Mom only pours about 2 cups of the half and half to start with - then adjust it after pouring everything in the ice cream maker - her philosophy is "more peaches, less cream".
And then you mix it according to your ice cream maker instructions.
If you have any questions, just email Mom.
It helps to have at least two people with strong arms or an electric ice cream maker.
And when it is done - enjoy!!
XOXO Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Ruairi
(peach pictures snagged from the internet and not our actual photos, but they could be - Mom has both of those bowls!)
Since we live out in the country, we do a lot of internet shopping, but our Mom hates to pay shipping charges - especially when the item she orders cost less than the shipping. She is always searching for coupon codes to get free or reduced shipping.
Today she found this website - freeshipping.org and thought she'd share it with you. According to them, they have free shipping codes for 2444 stores - hope it saves you a buck or two.
We can hardly believe how fast Mom's Studio is progressing. They are putting in windows and doors today. Roofing and siding come tomorrow. Then the builders will be finished. The rest is up to us.
Excitement is mounting at our house- our Sissy will be here tomorrow morning and is staying for 2 weeks and we know they will pass as fast as lightning!!
Have a great day. XOXO Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Ruairi

Scots swimming in the snow
Check us out!! We had a foot of snow the 1st of March. We liked it and did Piper ever get covered with little snowballs. His skirt is the longest!! Imagine that. I don't know why we girls couldn't have longer furnishings.
