RIGHT ON SCHEDULE

 The Sweet Buglets
are fast outgrowing the
shoebox that Mom put them in
while she cleans their bed.
Pretty soon,
we'll have to start putting
them in our big ole basket.

The first puppy that Mom weighed
this morning was MacAdoo.
As you can see,
he tipped the scales
at just over a pound.
His sister, Penny,
weighs just a bit less,
but she is over a pound too.
The others are right behind them.

 The Boys -
MacAdoo, Aidan and Gavan

 The Girls -
Penny and Jazzi

 Jazzi is the only puppy
who won't let you hold her
like a baby.
She fights it.

Mom is trying to get her
to submit to being held
in this position -
we can't let her
be the Alpha
at 10 days old!!

XOXO
Lilly, Piper, Ivy
and
The Sweet Buglets

Oh I love the way you can see Jazzi struggling in that first picture of her on her back, she's got that arm waaaay out there trying to get out of that position! And that picture of the girls together - oh my heart!!! Jazzi looks bigger than Penny, is she or is that just a trick of the picture? Also it may just be because Penny is next to peanut butter Jazzi but is Penny the lightest of the litter? I love all their little ears too! Not so dark anymore! Basically I just love these puppies to death!!

Wish Mama had made Argyle submit to being held this way...it's alway, always always a huge fight to get him over on his back! When you try it turns into a snapping turtle legs and claws kicking, head thrashing, and man oh man...it's a tussle!

So pleased to see also that you are acclimatising the buglets to their national dress at an early age.

Submit, Jazzi! It's fun being hugged and kissed like a hooman baby! Mom used to do that to me until I got too big for her to flip over in her arms! haha

Love ya lots,
Molly

So sweet. Glad to hear they are doing well. I love that Jazzi knows who she is already! When we first got Jake at 8 weeks, he refused (REFUSED) to be placed on his back...and persists with that to this day...except if it's me (mama) cradling him and then he submits willingly... too funny how they have their little personalities so early. Of course that's one of the zillion things we love about them, isn't it?!
