This morning,
Mom put Argyle
on the grooming table.
That is usually the cue
for the rest of us to hide somewhere
- usually under the bed.
This morning seemed different - somehow.
We were intrigued
and wanted to watch
what happened.
He got brushed, combed,
bathed and clipped
and before long
she had him out on
"the bench"
snapping photos.
He's leaving us today
to go back to his family.
His Dad is taking
him on a long trip
to Oklahoma.
We'll sure miss him -
he's a sweetie.

As I am reading this, I am taking glances over at Fiona who is quite shabby looking today. They both go for a day at the spa next week...a much needed trip. Sending you love and hugs! I am going to email you because a family member is looking for a scottie.
