BUGLETS - OFF AND RUNNING....

You'll have to excuse our secretary
for not posting for a week -
we finally got her down
off that tight-rope,
stopped her from
jumping through hoops
and caught all of the balls
she was juggling!!

We want to introduce you
to the buglet's new families.

Grace,
formerly Holly,
is going to live
with Holly
in Northern Virginia.

Bindy
is going to live with
Jim and Diane
and her half sister, Finleigh
in mid-Virginia.

Brodie
is going to live
with the Roden family
in Northern Virginia.

Argyle
is going to live with
Mike and Holly,
Rory and Fiona
in Pennsylvania.

Emma is here alone
with all the toys,
but soon she will be going

to live with Vicki and Bosco
in Kentucky.

We hope they all keep us
updated regularly.

SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO MAKE DIFFICULT DECISIONS

You might remember
that we had a special litter
of nine puppies,
born on February 9th, 2010.

Out of that litter,

we kept one puppy
with us here at
Rocky Creek Farm -
"The Handsome Red King"

Our little
Ruairi Coinneach of Rocky Creek Farm
was such a delightful little pup -

and grew up beautifully.

But sometimes life situations change
and we have to make difficult decisions.
We decided to rehome Ruairi,
but thankfully we found him
a fantastic home
where he is the only dog
and the center of the world
for Dennis and Linda.

Dad flew Ruairi
out to them on Tuesday
and he got to fly in the cabin with Dad -
he's a marvelous traveler.
We knew he would be
because he loves to ride.
Guess where he lives now??

Mom just got off the telephone
with Ruairi's new peeps
and he is adjusting beautifully
to his new home.
It's a great fit for all concerned -
we hope to go visit him
sometime soon.

STILL SEARCHING....

Every Christmas,
our Mom has visions
of that illusive photo....

Lilly was very patient with Mom,
wore the Santa Dress,
let Mom put her in the puppy basket,
just gave Mom a little "stink-eye".

Enter the puppies
with their Santa hats
and before Mom could
get them all adjusted,
out goes Lilly.

"You know who"
did a bit of cute posing
while the others played
in the background.

And soon they all had
to join the fracas -
that got Lilly back up
and checking on them,
but not in the basket.

But this sweetie-wheatie
decided to give us a cute pose-
we just don't know who it is.

Lilly was happy to see them go
back into their box -
they are much easier to watch
in their familiar territory.

Mom needs about five extra hands
to get that photograph she's searching for.
