WE HAD THE NICEST VISIT

On Sunday,
we got an email
from
The Roving VanGelders
saying they would like
to stop by for a visit.
We were all excited
that we would get
to meet Pippi.
She travels all over the country
with her sweet peeps.

One of the neatest things about Pippi
is that she can be trusted off leash.
She just hopped out of the car
and came straight to Mom
(who by the way did not take enough pictures).

Abigail and Josh and Mom
just gabbed away
like they had known each other furever.
Each of us got to come out
for a visit with them
as they sat on the porch
and had drinks and munchies.
Mom didn't want to overwhelm them
with all of us at once.
We loved getting to visit with
their little family.

And we hope they come back again.
They are welcome anytime.

XOXO
Lilly, Carrleigh and Ruairi

PS - Piper is still on vacation with De-De.

I am jelly of that whole off leash thing, but momma says I am not trustworthy. Sigh. Nice to have visitors. Maybe you can consult with Pippi about how to earn trust from the humans.

Isn't it great how having love of pups in common is all it takes to make it feel like you've been friends forever? That's how we felt when we met Liz & Fiona out west. Is Pippi one of the pups you bred?

Pippi is very cute. Our Mom understands about that whole overwhelming the guests thing. Usually one of us gets to represent the group.

Isn't it comforting that you can meet such nice people through a heartwarming dog blog?

It's great to meet new people and dogs face-to-face. I'd love everyone to visit; but Kendra is sooo grumpy, she doesn't like anyone.

Great that you connected up for a real-time visit with Pippi and her humans.

On a completely different matter, we have been reading through your archives about your puppies. The pictures are utterly adorable and my human loved looking through them.

Gosh, I hope our puppies look like that!

Wow, Pippi is so good to be able to go off leash! Mom doesn't trust me that much off leash coz I go running everywhere...which kinds of explains why I don't get to go off leash except in trainings! LOL! The visit looks awesome...hope you all had fun!

Happy Belated 4th!

We never get to go off leash unless we are in our fenced yard - we are very jealous of Pippi. How nice to have a visit with good friends.

How neat!! I don't know them yet!!
It is funny, I have never had a dog that I couldn't walk off leash.
Joker would get too far off at times but he would always come back when I called. Tom has always said you couldn't run them off with a stick!!
