Welcome to Wheely Wednesday.
It's me, Miss Merry Anne Bright
and I am all aflutter.
Yesterday when Dad came home with the mail,
there was a parcel addressed to
Rocky Creek Scotties,
a Royal Parcel.
Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and the pups
were all jumping around to see what
had come to them in the mail.
Mom wasn't sure what it would be,
so she opened it for us.
Then I saw it -
the card with the picture of a Wheeley on it.
I wheeled closer so that I wouldn't miss a word
when Mom read the message from the
lovely and gracious Miss Enid.
Even thought I was a late entry in
Scruff's Wheeley Show,
I received a pin for being a contestant
and a card from Enid!!
put it on me right away -
it goes beautifully on my clan tartan,
don't you agree?
And I told her I wanted to be photographed
in the flowers like
Autumn and Francesca.
I know you've heard of Mom's gardening skills
and I'm a bit embarrassed for her;
but she does grow a lovely dandelion.
And see my pin!!
Isn't is stellar?
Thank you, thank you to the
wheelies, doggies and leggeds at
The Square House.
So that gave me an idea for today -
I asked Mom to photograph
her Scottie pins so you could see her collection.
at a flea market in California.
She wondered how it traveled there,
but since then we have found out that
these Scotties were made with peoples
names on them, not states
as she previously thought.
one of them.
I especially like the one
that looks like a rider's crop -
I did watch the Kentucky Derby
on Saturday and got very excited!
