Check out these pretty blue skies we have today.

And the foot of snow is melting from our pen.
We haven't been able to hang out there
in over a month.

The water is melting in our outside pan.

The thermometer is registering in the 50's.

And Carrleigh's in a noose.

Run, Piper, Run.
She'll be after us next.
I hear the water in the sink
and see the shampoo.
Did you know that Mom bathes us
with horse shampoo?

Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Java

Poor Scotties,
you are going to feel so good after your baths!!! That is what I tell Bambi. It takes Tom to give her a bath, she dislikes it so much. You would think they thought they were going to melt!! Just like the snow!!
Kiss the clean scotties and Java for us.

Don't snarl at your Mommy. A bath is a good sign, as it means you are loved. Also, you get your Mommy's attention, just you. I don't like the wet, but I sure do love being with Mommy.

Looks like a little early spring cleaning going on there! The temperatures rise and these humans go crazy, I tell ya! I had a bath too (last night), if it makes you feel any better..

Oh NO!! not the bath thing!!!

Luckily it is still kinda cool here and to cool for a bath for me, or at least I hope so.

Least your mom doesnt have the flashy box out when you are all soaking wet.

I get a treat after my bath, so it makes it worth it; the only problem is my Dad shuts the door so I can't go outside and rub myself in the dirt, what a shame 1

Teehee! Mom used to bath us with the horse shampoo stuff, too, but now she pretty much takes us to the groomer, because some of us (*cough*TaiChi*cough*) aren't so keen on the bath thing, and make it a traumatic experience for all involved! I don't know about you, but I'm not so happy about the warm weather; it is 42 today, and while the melting snow is uncovering all sorts of 'buried treasure', I'd really like more snow to bound around in...

Our yard is muddy now so Dad has started hosing our feet before we come in the house. What is it with these humans, don't they know muddy feet is a natural state for a dog?

Remember to go roll in the grass when it over, okay?

ScrapsofMe said...

Oh say it's not so! I think you gave HER ideas! She was mumbling about how much Puffy stinks and how shaggy I look, so I'm afraid we've been penciled into the calendar too!

Stay warm,

That is most inappropriate. Horse shampoo indeed. Even I can tell that you are not horsies, but proper little dogs.

Carrleigh, is that a snarl I see?Not very becoming on such a sweet face. Hope that turns into a smile once Mom works her magic on you!
