ON TOP OF SPAGHETTI....

.....all covered with cheese.
I lost my poor meatball
when somebody sneezed.

We think you've got
to be fairly old
to remember that little ditty.

But you know our Mom-
she's older than dirt!!

 Yesterday,
Lilly and Edward
made a comment
about our meatballs.

We wanted to tell you
a little bit about our
"semi-raw" diet.

Bonnie needed to put
on a bit of weight
and it was plain that
she just wasn't eating enough.
She would leave half
of her food!!
Since she's on this -
she doesn't leave any now.

Mom did a lot of research
before she came up with this
and we love it!!

This recipe makes enough
to feed one dog for
approximately two weeks
or four dogs
for approximately four days.

Ingredients

1 ½ pounds ground beef or ground meat (lean)
1 ½ pounds kibble or 3 cups Total Cereal
24 ounce package of cottage cheese
2 cups of rice cook it and cool it
½ dozen boiled eggs with shell
1 16 ounce package of cauliflower, broccoli and carrots
or fresh equivalent
1 small sweet potato
½ cup coconut oil.

Directions
Cook the rice and cool.
Mom puts the coconut oil
into the hot rice
so it gets melted through.
Boil the eggs and let cool cool.
Grind up kibble in food processor.
Grind up frozen vegetables,
sweet potato and eggs
in food processor.
Mix everything together -
it's easiest if you mix one food
into the next instead of trying to
mix it all at once.

Then make into meatballs.
Mom uses a tablespoon cookie scoop to measure
with and then she rolls them between her palms
to make them firmer.

We wait on the floor
at her feet
to clean up if she drops anything.

Freeze.
Thaw the day before using.
We get four or five meatballs
twice a day on a bed of kibble
(about 1/8 cup kibble)

This is what it looks like
once it's mixed up.
At the end,
Mom puts on gloves
and gets in there
with her hands to mix it.

 Here's where she's measured
out the meatballs with the scoop.

And the finished product -
waiting for us to gobble it up.

Poor Ivy doesn't get this
except for a treat!!
We don't know how much
it would take to feed her!!

Bon Appetit!!

XOXO

CHEWY DOES IT AGAIN

As always,
we love to see those
Chewy.com boxes and envelopes
come in the mail.

 And in March,
that was no different.
But our Mom -
"Ole Sneaky One"
didn't get us any treaties
or food to review.
She got something
that we couldn't even taste.

The reason we waited so long
to do this review
is because she wanted
a true test of
The probiotic
comes in a thirty day supply.

 It is easy to use
and comes in a small box
that Mom can just keep
next to the fridge
where she keeps our food.

 One little package daily
sprinkled on the food
is all it takes.

And look -
you can't even see it.
If there is a problem
and it needs to be dissolved,
you can just mist the food
with a bit of water
before sprinkling it on.

Now on to the
"poop scoop".
(We'll spare you any photographs)

One of us, namely Piper,
has been having a
"slimy" poop problem
for quite some time.

Mom had tried various
other probiotics
such as yogurt and cottage cheese
added to his food.

Things would firm up
for a day or so
but never really go away.

Now, Piper has solid poops
all the time.

Mom is sold on this product
and Chewy.com has the best price
she's found anywhere.

XOXO,
Piper, Celti, Bonnie, Ruben,
