AND THEN....

Yesterday,

it was Piper's birthday.

The day started out by 

The Sweet Buglets

taking a visit to the Vet.

  

 Then a handsome Scotsman

came to visit -

and when he left,

 

 there were only 

FOUR Buglets left - 

he must have hidden

one in his beard

when he left!!

  

 Then today,

one of our Jazzis 

came to visit.

 

 When she left,

there were only 

THREE Buglets left!!

Then Monty sent his Mom

over to visit

and when she left!!

 

Guess what??

There were only

TWO Buglets

left in the puppy bed.

We know we need to keep watch - 

Buglets are disappearing

at our house!!

to see how they grew.

We encourage their new peeps

to keep taking weekly photos 

until they are about six months old

and then change to monthly photos.

To see how they grow,

the photo needs to be

next to a marker

so you can see how 

the pup is growing in proportion

to a fixed object.

NINE WEEKS OLD ON CHRISTMAS DAY

If the weather holds steady,

tonight is the last night

The Sweet Buglets

will spend together.

They will start

leaving us tomorrow. 

We will surely miss them all!!

Mom was able 

to go pick Lilly up 

at about 1:00 pm.

Lilly was thrilled to see Mom

and couldn't get close enough

to her in the car.  

 Even with a poodle foot,

she can still watch 

over her babies.

THERE'S A NEW TRICK EVERYDAY

The Sweet Buglets

surprise and charm us

with their new tricks.  

 We love how they 

peep over the edge

with their inquisitive eyes.

  

 We like to see their big teeth,

but we don't like to feel them!!

 There's always one smartypants

that learns to climb

out of the puppy box.

FOR SAFETY'S SAKE

We know that you all

have someone who

watches out for you

all the time.

 

 The Sweet Buglets

have their own

Dad and Mom

(they sleep with one ear open)

 

 They also have our Mom

but there are times

that you need to send a signal

to other people and dogs

that you just don't want them

"in your face".

That is what

The Yellow Ribbon Project

is all about.    

 If you are a dog

that gets anxious

when a strange dog

comes up to you,

your peeps need

to tie a yellow ribbon

on your leash

to signify that they 

can't just let their dog

come up to you.

   

We hope this becomes 

a universal sign.
