WHERE'S MY PUPPY WUPPY?

Today marks a milestone
in the life our our puppies.

It's the first time they hear the call,
"where's my puppy-wuppy?"


Then for the first time
the see the red bowl
and smell the puppy gruel.
They wander around,
sniffing and finally one of them
decides to investigate.


Then everyone else starts getting curious


Pretty soon,
they all decide to give it a try.


gathering around,



walking through the food


and cleaning it off each other's faces.


Then Lilly gets to get in
and clean up the leftovers
and the puppies get a bit of dessert!!

    I was thinking about this very thing last night as I stood in the wind trying to get Sky to come inside after last call. There was a time when I called " puppy, puppy" and they all came running. Those were good times.

    I think I have some pictures of mine at one of the first feedings with Norma Jean asleep in the food.

    We met the sweetest 5-month old black Scottie puppy named Toby and told him all about you and your litter of buglets. His owner agreed, there are few things cuter than a Scottie puppy! (Well, as Petey reminds me, Cairn terrier puppies are awfully adorable too). Petey and his cousin Toby had a friendly sniff and tail wag, then Petey was ready to move on, much to Toby's dismay.

    Next best thing to meeting your pups in person!

    Lilly must be over the moon. Pretty soon she won't be pestered so much and can on with teaching those pups to be proper terriers.
