Morning Glories.
They greet her every morning
with new blooms -
but if the truth were told,
without Dad's conscientious watering,
there would be no
vines or flowers.
Some of you wanted to see an updated

Miss Ivy.

being still -
here she is in her energetic glory -

Love the Morning Glories! My flowers are all gone now :-(. All fried from summer.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn!! I'm getting caught up on your blog--I've got to pay better attention, I missed your post about the earthquake! But morning glories are among my favorites too!! I have been saying I need to get some planted (I even have seeds) but I've yet to do it. There's always next year, right! :-)) Your girl Ivy has really gotten big!! I'll bet Todd would love to play with her--I wonder who would wear out first?
ReplyDeleteMiss Ivy is looking mah-voulous!! Mama isn't doing flowers too much this summer. Too hot and dry here this year...
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

Hard to know why is more splendid, the morning glory or the Ivy!
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful are your morning glory. The morning glory is aptly named, as the flower blooms in the morning and dies by the afternoon. Wish they lasted longer.
ReplyDeleteHope you stay safe from Irene.
Sweet William The Scot
