AN IMPORTANT DAY - AND A WINNER!!

Today is a day of first
for our Sweet Buglets -
it is one that the rest
of us dread -
even Mom dreads it.

See that sweet little Penny paw -
and those long toenails
starting to show through the fur.
Today is the first day
that the Sweet Buglets
got their toenails trimmed.
Most of they just laid there
and let Mom trim their nails -
but there was one fighter
in the bunch -
of course,
it would be Jazzi -
already living up to her name!!

 We're trying to teach them
to line up for you.

 But MacAdoo and Jazzi
don't want to stay on the outside -

 they want to scoot
and push until they
are in the middle too.

 Listen one and all!!

We have a winner
from our 600th post contest!!

 The winner was
Commenter # 8 -

  2. Oh I just want to kiss that little Penny paw! I hope that she behaved for you during her first nail trimming experience! That little Jazzi, she's got the Scottie stubborn-ness all right! And I love the pictures that show the pups progressively moving from birth order to snuggle pile! They are just so adorable!

  5. Congrats to my friends Susie and Sidebites. Those little buglets know there is safety in numbers and if they keep close maybe just maybe you will skip their nails.
    Thanks for being a friend

  12. Nail trimming is never a good day around here. The babies look so cute no matter how they lay, its really fun when they are all piled up on top of each other. Congratulations to Susie and Sidebite.
