NOW FOR SOME MORE OF THE STORY...

Now as some of you know,
I, Lilly,
was thrilled to see Carrleigh
go on her merry way.

On the other hand,
I really hated to see my Sissy leave.

Mom and Dad
took a little longer
than Piper and I
thought they should take
when they took
Sissy and Carrleigh
to the airport.

When they got home,
they had a big surprise
for us.

When the car door opened,
out jumped my sweetie, Argie!!

Argie, Piper and I
are having a great time
playing together.

Argie is going to stay
with us for a few weeks
while his Mom, Lizbeth,
is having some chemotherapy.
Please send her some
"power of the paw".
We are praying daily
for her recovery.

(Just so you know -
this is not Argyle, the puppy.
It is another Argyle -
it is who the puppy was named for.)

Argie's peeps have a new hobby.
They have started keeping bees.
When he came,
he brought us a jar of honey
from their first harvest.
It is great on a hot, buttered biscuit!!

XOXO
Lilly, Piper, Argie and Ivy

  1. Welcome to Rocky Creek Argy. You have landed in the best possible place for a Scottie. But of course you knew that already. All the best to your Mom as she undergoes that horrid treatment. We do hope it works, and meantime, at least she will know that you are being cared for by the experts.
Oh and that honey looks totally yummy.
    Toodle pip!

  2. I hope everything goes well for Argie's mom! Power of the paw Lizbeth. Now you are so lucky to get that jar of honey. Does it have a piece of the honeycomb. Lee use to have two hives. Neighbors said they were danagerous so we had to transport them to an apple farm. They we not danagerous.
    Thanks for being a friend

  4. Yum!!!

We know you miss your sissie BUT just don't think about how Carrleigh is getting all her scritches now.

We know Argie is going to have a great time and temporarily fill the hole Carrleigh left. We're so happy he could come visit--but not for the reason.

We hope his mum heals quickly--paws crossed.
