HAVE YOU EVER.......

...heard a cow snore?




Last night when Mom and Lilly
went out for the final check
around the yard,
they heard a strange noise
that spooked them
so they "high-tailed" it
back into the house
to get Dad.

Upon further inspection
and an insult to a dreaming bovine,
Dad discovered that the noise
that scared Mom and Lilly
was none other
than a snoring cow.

Mom said she had been around cattle
all of her life,
and this is the first time
she ever heard one snore!!

    I have been very intimate with any cows so far in my short life, so the answer is NO.
    I wonder what she was dreaming about? A buttercup filled meadow perhaps?

    Can't say I'm too surprised...I had an old sheep that made all sorts of funky noises in her sleep! And lets not mention a certain Scotty that snorts, snores, barks and grumbles....

    Oh, that was funny, I could see them hurrying back to the house, BOL I am not cow-expert so I cant say that I have herd a cow snoring, but let me check with Uncle Ed, he lives right next door to some cows ok?

    We didn't know cows could snore...Of course I only met some once and they were awake. It must have sounded VERY strange to spook you.

    We've never heard a cow snore either, but Mom complained the other night that she couldn't get to sleep because Samba, Sky and Noah were snoring so loud. She woke them all up and made them stop.

    Never heard a cow snore - maybe you need to get her a very large nasal strip thingey to help her not snore and let the others cows sleep - it must keep them awake too!
