WE ARE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

This morning Mom took Lilly
to the Vet
because she should have
had her puppies by now.

Although she had all the signs,
Lilly had a false pregnancy,
which is very common in dogs.
And there are no puppies.

We are realistic
and know that there
is a plan greater than ours.

Mom is happy that Lilly is healthy
and looks fabulous,
but she was looking forward
to sweet puppy breath.

So, tonight, we are off of "puppy watch"
and can get a good night's sleep.

Several of you have asked
where to get the coats.
We got them from an Ebay store,
and very inexpensive too.
If you are interested,
email us at
rockycreekscotties at yahoo dot com
and Mom will email
the info to you.

XOXO
Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Java

  1. We are disappointed, too. We were looking forward to some charming little Scottie babies. Maybe next time, we hope!

    Happy Holidays, anyway,

  3. Oh, we're sorry about the pups. We were looking forward to silly puppy pictures. e went thru a similar disappointment when Samba didn't conceive on the first try. But if she had, we wouldn't have gotten Fudge and he has changed our lives.

  14. Oh NO! We are so disappointed, too!!!! We had allowed ourselves to have these sweet images of Scottie puppies on Christmas Day. (pout) We're so happy, though, that Lilly is healthy and doing well. She'll bring cheer back into your household. We know she will.

And Lilly. We know we don't need to tell you this. But don't listen to Mango. He is ridiculous. (Ridiculously funny. But ridiculous!) We've never seen a brindle Scottie. Or a Scottie that slobbers. You let your pawrents decide when and who is next. We know they know best.

Our hearts are with you. We'll cross our paws for the future. In the meantime, have a lovely Christmas together. All of you.

    Love
    Jake and Fergi and family

  27. Hi Lily, I was sorry to hear there will be no little bundles of joy under the tree. However, you did get to go on a date without being chaperoned, so there is that.
And that means you get to date again. Which is even better! I think....not that I'd KNOW about such things.

Is Mango offering his services to you too? He mentioned something to me about MasScotts...he's quite the ladies man isn't he?

Get lots of rest and enjoy being single again.

    sniffies,
    Bonnie
