IT'S TRUE COLOURS THURSDAY - GREEN AS IN GRASS

Good Morning,

And welcome to True Colours Thursday. Our host for tod
ay is Blue and the colour for today is GREEN. If you'd like to play along, just go over and let Blue know and you're in. It's that easy! Next week's colour is BLACK.

We went into our archives today to find some photos so you may have seen some of these in the past.
Back in May,
we were the lucky winners
of the drawing
Maggie and Mitch had
for their 600th post.
Those yummy apple treats
you see in the GREEN bag
are long gone,
but we still enjoy the
GREEN tug of war toy
and of course
Mitch's signature pig.

Our favorite mode of transportation
is our GREEN Polaris Ranger.

This Scottie cookie cutter
is setting on the GREEN 1950's dinette set
that is in our kitchen.

Piper has a GREEN bowl.

And here is Lilly standing in the
GREEN, GREEN grass of home.

GREEN always makes Mom think of our Grandpa.
For some reason, he wouldn't eat GREEN food,
like GREEN jello, GREEN jelly or GREEN cake.
He did like GREEN vegetables,
but stayed away from any foods that
contained GREEN food dye.

Have a wonderful, colorful day.

XOXO
Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Java

  5. Doesn't nature "do" green incredibly well? It's fitting that we've chosen to "Go Green" to acknowledge and protect our environment.

We love the green green grass at home photo (AND the cookie cutter on the vintage dinette set ... made Moma think of HER gramma and all the time they spent together in her kitchen.)

  26. lily makes a nice contrast to the green grass...the grass here gets really brown, almost like a camouflage to us black and tans...it's gonna be another long hot summer..
