THE FROST IS ON THE PUMPKIN AND THE "QUEEN" IS BACK ON THE THRONE

Yesterday, we woke up
to 26 degrees Fahrenheit.
But the weatherman
predicted better weather for today.
And he was right,
it was 28 degrees.

And it got the last of
Mom's roses
which are protected
against the house.

Many of you have asked
if Lilly is home.
Mom went to get her
last Thursday
and she is back on the throne.
Of course we don't know
yet if she has babies
in her belly.
We can only hope.

And for those of you who asked,
Mom is doing better.
She is not 100% yet,
but we think she'll be there soon.
Thank you for your concern.

XOXO
Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Java

  2. Do you like the feeling of the crunch of frost on your paws in the morning? Somehow it's a whole lot prettier to look at than to walk in after we've been all warm and toasty in bed! Still, it's such a beautiful time of the year.

Enough said. It's time to roll outta this warm bed and go for our walk. We'll think of your pretty landscape as we do!

Glad that your mom is feeling better ... and hoping the best for Lilly,
Jake and Fergi (warm and cozy)

  4. Brr..It has warmed up here just enough for 2 or 3 days for me to get our new hen house primed. Well maybe. It is getting dark so much earlier that it does not leave much time after work. Ladybug says hi!

My grandparents use to say that/"Frost is on the pumkins". I have always like that saying.
