Mom and Dad are hosting the Scottish Terrier Club of Western Virginia at our house tomorrow. No only do we have to act pretty and look pretty, Mom says we have to smell pretty too - hence the visit to the dreaded "house of torture".
It all starts out on our grooming table,where she uses all of these fancy tools
to get out all of our knots and tangles.
You smooth coated dogs don't know how lucky you are.
She even cleaned our ears!
Occasionally she feels sorry for usand we get to have a treat from our jar.
(scary music should be playing here)
Because she catches usone by one
and then we get the dreaded bath!!
Java is laughing because he knows he's safe.She never bathes him - he goes to the groomer.
What are we - chopped liver?
We have to get groomed at home-
but we guess that beats a dog-o-matic any day.
Guess what's in store for today?
Can you hear her sharpening her clippers?

You poor doggies... I so feel your pain. I'll be thinking of you today and hoping this trauma doesn't leave any permanent scars.

Oh yes, being groom-tortured is not much fun, we've been there... You keep giving her the evil eye so she knows she'd doing wrong (that's what we do with our Pinkie, you see, the amount of treats given increases proportionally to the amount of evil eye portrayed).

OMG! This was so funny! I could hear the scary music in the background! LOL! I don't like them either, but Ebony loves to jump in the shower for no reason, so I jump in there with her! Its not so bad. Besides, you come out smelling really good! Good luck tomorrow! Take plenty of pictures so we can see!

Oh boy, we know that look all too well!! Maw and Paw bathe us inbetween our spa days and we don't care much for it either. Thank God for cream rinse and Cowboy Magic!
