Our Mom loves lookingthrough palm trees at a blue sky.
This is a scene from Haiti.
Our "kids" bathroomis decorated with yellow duckies.
Last year when our sissy, Kat,
and her BFF, Erin,
were visiting,
they found this cute skye blue bandanna
and now it's hanging in that bathroom.
Mom is always taking photographsof old barns.
This barn is somewhere in either
Western Virginia
or Tennessee.
It has a beautiful blue sky overhead.
Mom rescued this wonderful starquilt off of a driveway in California
when they lived there.
It has a lot of beautiful skye blue squares.
And we leave you with thegorgeous sky over the
Blue Ridge Mountains
of Virginia.

ReplyDeleteLong long long time ago, my mom and dad lived in denver and they loved the mountains. She said that last picture reminds her of the rockies and now she is homesick for them, LOL
My Aunt makes and loves quilts and it is so pretty and looks comfy to curl up on, ummmmm???

Yes, we like to see the big blue sky here too. SOmetimes I have to remind momma to just look up and think good thoughts. Too much time spent scowling for her I think.

Moma just wanted to reach out and grab that beautiful quilt with sky blue stars. We think it would be really comfy to curl up in, but we're pretty sure that's not what she had in mind.

What a perfect color for someone who lives in the Blue Ridge mountains!! How could someone have abandoned that quilt? My mom quilted, and I was always amazed how much time & love went into each one!!
