FAMILY AND FOOD AND FUN

On Friday afternoon,
our Dad's extended family
started to converge
on Rocky Creek Farm.
We had been rushing around all day
preparing for their visit,
cleaning, cooking, putting away our toys.....
So much was going on,
Mom didn't have time to make too many photos.
But she did get one of our cousins
helping make the delicious fresh peach ice cream.


Java found a cool spot in the grass
where he could stay out of the way
but keep his eye on the grill.

Our cousin, Jonah,
enjoyed playing with our pig
that we won from Maggie and Mitch's anniversary.
He loved to make it grunt.

And then on Sunday,
after everyone went home,
we all took naps.

And once the sun started going down,
we relaxed by playing in our pen.
As you can see one of us has been digging.

    Fresh ice cream and it's peach!!! Wish we were there too. Hope your family weekend went very well. It is hard having all that company around but you guys all look wonderful - did some pup have to get a bath too?

    Your pen has such lovely tall grass! Ours did too, until they actually put us in it, then we systematically dug it all up and now there are just red walking bricks. The grass was so cool and refreshing. The el Distructos hit once again!!
