HONESTY

Mom took Khyra's Mom's challenge to list 10 things about herself. You might want to ask your Mom to do it too.

1. I am an only child.

2. I have wanted to raise dogs and breed puppies
all of my life.

3. I have lived in the United States, The Philippine Islands and Okinawa.

4. While living in the Philippines and Okinawa, I was an interpreter for the deaf in grade schools. Since I rarely sign now, I have forgotten most of it.

5. I have been quilting since I was 7 years old and soo
n that will mean I have quilted for 50 years.

6. I am a lifelong student - always wanting to learn to do one more thing.

7. I am a horrible housekeeper, but love to entertain.

8. Making bread is one of my most relaxing hobbies.

9. I can kill any houseplant given to me (usually in less than a week)

10. I love my life and the people in it. I am living out my childhood dreams by being able to live on Rocky Creek Farm with the love of my life. I just wish our children lived closer to us so they could visit more often.

Have a wonderful day,
Lynn

  4. My goodness. Quilting? I tried it ONCE and just did not have the patience for it (but we do have a lovely handmade quilt in our guest room).

How nice that you now are raising dogs just like you always dreamed of doing.

  20. Hi Scotties
Thanks for letting us read more about your Mom. And what a sweet picture of her as a little girl. (just goes to show that us dogs don't have a total monopoly on the cuteness thing!)
    Cheers, H.

  21. It was fun reading about your Mom. Everyone who knows my Mom, knows not to give her any live plants. She is a murderer also.

  23. Wow! You've been all around the world to come back home...living the dream...you can't beat that.
I hope you don't mind, but I've tagged you:

    1) open the folder that has your pet pics in it
    2) choose one you haven't posted before
    3) tell its story
    4) tag 5 friends

  24. Thank you for that wonderful sharing. Mom was a teacher once too - French and Math. She still understands and can read the French well, but she has lost a lot of her ability to speak it well.

We are glad you are living on Rocky Creek Farm too because that way we got to meet you and the pups.
