SOMETHING IS UP AT OUR HOUSE

We always get excited
when we see the suitcases come out.
It means someone
is going on a trip (or not!!)
So far
we haven't
seen any tr
aveling crates
added to the stack

Mom has been
on the telephone
with Miss Donna a lot lately.
We heard her tell Miss Donna
to not let Carrleigh
eat anyone's leftovers.
And that our food bins
would be marked.

And we heard her tell Miss Vicki
that she needed to get away
and go junking in some
antique malls.
It's a good thing
she bought that big
box of treats last week
or we'd be worried
about our treat money.

Do you think the peeps
are slipping away for a trip or something?
Who will turn on the computer
so we can paw our blog?
We will have to wait until Mom gets back
to let you know what's going on.

Until we paw again,
XOXO
Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Java

  1. I hate it when my Mom goes away, but maybe you will get extra treats when she returns. Good thing you have lots of treat to fall back on so you won't starve

p.s. My Mom loves antique shops, she collects something called depression glass and I am not allowed to use it ever.

  2. It sounds ominous, I have to say. This Miss Donna, do you know her? Is she nice? Good with treats, walks and cuddles? If you're worried, why not run around he house barking a lot. That's what I do and sometimes it works and I get taken on the trip too!
    Cheers, H.

  5. Oh no, the dreaded suitcases. That usually means a trip to the kennel for us - hope you get to stay home and have some lovely doggy nanny care for all your needs.

  6. Our doglets get in the suitcases when we start to pack. Try that. If that doesn't work...put on the 'face'....you know, the one that gets you treats? And follow your peeps around stuck to their legs. As a last resort...when they open the car door, jump in and refuse to get out. I'm sure the 4 of you can manage to hi-jack a car! Good luck.

  10. It appears ya'll may be right about your suspicions (that Mom is going on a trip.) But not to worry... as one who dogsits from time to time, I can tell you that dog sitters are more easily manipulated than your own people. It'll be a treat fest at your house very soon!

  13. When Mom and Dad bring our bags, it usually means that it is time for the House With Wheels. Maybe you can just convince your humans to leave the computer on... At least you've got plenty of treats.

  15. Ciao RCS and Java!

Hmmm, my advice is to work your charms on Miss Donna so you get plenty of those Milk Bones!! I also think Hamish had a good plan -- running around the house and barking can be verrrry effective!

Hope your dolce mama has a good time!

    Tanti baci!
