First we want to thank Maggie and Mitch for giving us the Friendship Award. It was so sweet of them. Most of you know that without the encouragement they gave us, we wouldn't be blogging. Our huMom had been searching for Scottish Terrier Blogs (and there are very few of them) and kept running across a lot of Airedale Blogs. She fell in love with Maggie and Mitch so she (I mean we) emailed them to see how it's done and they told us how much fun they had with blogging so we decided to try it and we love it (well when our satellite linkup cooperates with Mom - sometimes we hear her muttering strange words about it!!)

We would like to pass the Friendship Award back to Maggie and Mitch and to Dianne at Peddlecar Quilts, to Blue at My True Colors and to Footheel Sock Knitter. Dianne has dogs, but she mostly blogs about the lovely quilts she makes - she is a very talented textile artist and Mom loves to see what she is making. Blue doesn't have a dog but she is out and about and going to the most amazing places - the pictures she post on her blog are phenemonal. Footheel Sock Knitter has dogs and she knits the most wonderful things, but knitting socks is her passion. Our Mom knits and she also love to knit socks - sometimes we suspect she spends our treat money on sock yarn.

We have been running around with Mom and taking some Spring pictures. Here is a picture of our house right at sunset. It's taken from our driveway and we walk up to that spot about 4 times every day.

Our friend Jack owns and is the caretaker for the grist mill that his father ran when he was a kid. Jack will be 90 years old this month. This photo is one our Mom made of his mill and it was published in a calendar.

Mom loves to see those dandelions peeking up and blooming and Dad is always trying to get rid of them. Mom won't let him put any herbicide on our yard anymore since Purdue University did a study that shows that herbicides can cause bladder cancer in Scotties.

Beware - DEAD TURKEY AHEAD

Yesterday was the youth day of Spring Gobbler Season and Dad said that 2 boys could come over and hunt turkeys. Our friend, Chanz, was lucky enough to get one. He was so proud of his first turkey. And we all want to rub our heads on the spot where he laid the turkey - it's Scottie perfume - almost as good as rubbing your head in turkey pooh!! Mom makes us go by it really quick so we don't get a chance.
Have a wonderful Sunday. We hope you get to do something fun with your peeps.

Happy Trails and Waggin' Tails,
Lilly, Piper, Carrleigh and Java
